WHAT IT MEANS TO BE YOUNG

           Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of emotion; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.

           Youth means the predominance of courage over timidity, of adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of sixty more than in a boy of twenty. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years, we grow old by deserting our ideals.

           Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, doubt, self-distrust, fear and dispair --- these bow the heart and turn the spirit back to dust.

           Whether sixty or sixteen, there is in every human being's heart the love of wonder, the sweet amazement at the stars and the star like things, the undaunted challenge of events, the unfailing childlike appetite for what next and the joy of the game of living.

           You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt; as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear; as young as your hope, as old as your despair.

         

GOD THE ARCHITECT

 Who thou art I know not,
 But this much I know;
 Thou hast set the pleiades
 In a silver row;

 Thou hast sent the trackless winds
 Loose upon their way;
 Thou hast reared a colored wall
 Twixt the night and day;

 Thou hast made the flowers to bloom
 And the stars to shine;
 Hid rare gems of richest ore
 In the tunneled mine;

 But chief of all thy wondrous works,
 Supreme of all thy plan,
 Thou hast put an upward reach
 In the heart of man.

OUR UNFINISHED WORLD

God gave us a world unfinished, so that we might share in the joys and satisfactions of creation.

He left oil in trenton rock.

He left electricity in the clouds.

He left the rivers unbridged --- and the mountains untrailed.

He left the forests unfelled and the cities unbuilt.

He left the laboratories unopened.

He left the diamonds uncut.

He gave us the challenge of raw materials, not the satisfaction of perfect, finished things.

He left the music unsung and the drama unplayed.

He left the poetry undreamed, in order that men and women might not become bored, but engage in stimulating, exciting, creative activities that keep them thinking, working, experimenting and experiencing all the joys and durable satisfactions of achievement.

                 The modern computer will have to be 10,000 times larger than the average brain( containing 100 billion cells ) to do equivalent functions.

                  Whatever the mind of man can conceive ( think ), believe, and vividly ( clearly ) visualize, it can achieve !

                  We are born in this world to experience health, happiness, peace of mind, confidence, financial success.....Not to experience a lifetime of sickness, fear, anxiety, loneliness, poverty, or failure of any kind.

                  People use 1% or 2%  of their mind power most successful up to 10-15%.

                 Two types of mind :  Conscious and Subconscious.

                  The second mind active thru'out 24 hrs/day and life; capable of bringing happiness, prosperity, health, and fulfilment of all desires.

                  The Subconscious - a large data bank of experience, thoughts, image, ideas. Works to fit our conscious programming. We walk, talk, think, behave, perform in a manner consistent  with our conscious belief system.

You can be a total winner even if you're a beginner
                If you think you can, you can;
               If you think you can, you can!

            You can wear the gold medallion;
         You can ride your own black stallion.
               If you think you can, you can;
              If  you think you can, you can!
           
           It's not your talent or the gift at birth;
    It's not your bank book that determines worth.
             And it isn't in the color of your skin; 
             It's your attitude that lets you win.

             You can upset Connors or  Austin;
              Or win the marathon at Bostan.
              If you think you can, you can;
             If you think you can, you can!

            You can profit through inflation;
                you can redirect this nation.
              If you think you can, you can;
              If you think you can, you can!

      It does'nt matter if  you've won before;
It makes no difference what's the half time score.
            It's never over until the final gun,
    So keep on trying and you'll find you've won.

     You grab your dream and then believe it;
      Go out and work and you'll achieve it.
           If you think you can, you can;
           If you think you can, you can!

The dangerous people are not the ones
Who hit you with clube and rob you with guns!
The thief won't attack your character traits
Or belittle your abilities to your face!
It likely will be a well-meaning friend
Who merely crushes your will to win.

No, he doesn't rob you,at point of gun,
He simply says,"It can't be done."
When pointed to thousands who already are successful
He smiles and says,"They're superior!"
Personality-wise,and ablities,too,

They're way ahead of what others can do!"
It matters not that his words are untrue
For, you feel "others" must know you!
So, you're robbed of your hopes,your dreams to succeed.
Robbed of the material blessing received,
Robbed of your faith that says," I  can."

And robbed by an ignorant, gunless friend.
So, the deadliest of men is nt he with a gun,
But the one who tells you "It can't be done!"
For that taken by burglars can be gotten again.
But, what can replace your will to win?

  Life Can Be Unfair At Times
  When You Must Maintain Faith
           And Never Let Go.
 
  It Is Especially During The Diffcult Times
          That You Must Live Your Life
               To Its Fullest Potential
           Those Are The Times To Triumph
                    Over Circumstances
               With hope And Courage
 
             Life Isn't Always Easy
But If You Keep Going And Persevere
         To The Very Best Of Your Ability
You Will Gain Strength to Manage
         The New Challenges Ahead

             Each goal That You Reach
  Is Another Important Step Forward 

           Believe That There Are
       Bright And Wonderful Days
  Ahead For You And You Will Find Them...
